Hi everyone- just a quick tip here for today. Try and notice how many times throughout the day you use the words "should" and "shouldn't". For example, "I should eat those carrots, they are so healthy and I need to lose weight" or "I shouldn't take that piece of chocolate, I will blow my diet".
Shoulds and shouldn'ts come from that inner personal critic. Why not change the phrases to "I think I will enjoy that small piece of chocolate", or "I would love to have some carrots since they help my health".
Try an experiment- listen to the inner critic. Don't let the inner critic bring you down and berate you for what you choose. You deserve to choose healthy foods. You deserve some treats. But most of all, you deserve some peace!
