My tip for the day is to plan your meals for the week based on what vegetables are fresh and local. If you don't have a nearby farm or farmer's market, look for locally grown produce in your grocery store produce section.
The locally grown produce tastes so much better and retains many more vitamins. And more fresh fruits and vegetables are better for your health!
Also, bring your kids to the farmer's market if you have one! This is a perfect time for the children to meet the farmers. This helps to foster a connection with the children with who grows their food.
