 Here is a fun idea to do with your kids after school. You can have a shake day! First of all, prepare in advance by buying some fresh or frozen blueberries, strawberries and raspberries and bananas or any other fruit. Have some plain yogurt and lowfat milk on hand, as well as honey and maple syrup. Let the kids decide what to put in - they will love having the choice! It is also fun for them to see it all get mixed together. Here are a couple of recipes for some shakes if you would like to have a recipe or two: |
