Hi everyone. Well with the holiday season upon us, many of us are running from here to there. Here are some ways to be prepared so you don't fall prey to overeating or getting low blood sugar this holiday season:
- Always pack a healthy snack- it is easy to go too long without eating during this time of year. A protein bar or peanut butter and crackers, peanut butter on whole wheat bread or trail mix are some snacks that you can stick in your purse or briefcase. These are great for when you know you will be shopping, waiting in lines, etc.
- Slow down when eating your meals. Take the time to relax at your mealtime.
- Do some exercise and/or relaxation. It is so important this time of the year to take time out for yourself
And most of all, enjoy yourself! That is what this time should be about!
